It’s not that vaping is bad for you, but it’s just another habit, like drinking coffee, that you don’t need in your life…unless you like to pretend to be a dragon. Having said that, if you smoke cigarettes you should definitely quit those and take up vaping.
There are a bucket load of health risks involved in smoking. Cigarettes are packet full of tar, arsenic, cadmium and benzene, all associated with potential cancer development. I don’t think there is any question about cigarettes being bad for you, which is why taking a healthier alternative to help you quit them can only be a good thing. Whatever it takes to get off the smokes!
Needs More Research on Vaping vs Smoking
Vaping isn’t as well researched as cigarettes, but there are still plenty of scientific studies done that show vaping to be much better for you than smoking.
Vapes don’t make a carcinogenic cloud of smoke like cigarettes do. The cloud you see come out of vaping is an aerosol, which is just vapour, in this case vegetable glycerine (VG) vapour with flavour particles attached to the VG molecules. Yes, I know VG sounds dangerous. Yes, I know glycerine is in explosives. Do you know what else VG is in? Cookies, ice cream, yoghurt, soap, water-based lubrication, toothpaste, skin care lotions, and much, much more! VG is an artificial sweetener that doesn’t feed the bacteria in your mouth that causes plaque and cavities. VG is everywhere!
A positive consequence of vaping over smoking is the smell. Vapes smell great! Waffles, cookies, strawberry, custard, grape, every flavour under the sun!
So if you’re a smoker and looking to quit, vaping is a great tool to use to help you put the packet down.
