Evey year the AVN ( Adult Video News) awards are hosted to discover which porno was the best of that year. In 2018 the AVN was held on 27th January at The Joint in Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Paradise, Nevada.
The AVN awards are held in such high regard that it’s often referred to as the Oscars of porn. With over 100 categories being celebrated, there is something at AVN for everyone.

This years awards was hosted by comedian Aries Spears and co-hosted by performer/director Angela White and Webcam star Harli lotts.
The winner for Best Drama this years was Half His Age: A Teenage Tragedy, which also earned honours as best movie. Justice League XXX: An Axel Braun Parody and Angel 3 each won six awards, making them both tied for most honours of this season.
But the big winner of the night with Movie of the Year honours, Half His Age: A Teenage Tragedy managed to take four trophies.
As anyone who watches porn can tell you, the performers are much more important than the actual movie. This isn’t a lot different to the real Oscars. We all care who won best performer more than who won best picture. At least, I do.

That brings us to the nights major performer award winners: The major performer awards went to Angela White, AVN Female Performer of the Year Award; Markus Dupree, Male Performer of the Year and Jill Kassidy, Best New Starlet. In terms of movies, the big winners were Justice League XXX: An Axel Braun Parody and Angela 3, each with six awards.
